Emma Woodward is a director and writer based in Queens, NY.
She directed and produced season one of INTERLOPER, a full-length fantasy series currently in post-production and releasing in 2027.
Her debut short film God Loves Us When We Dance premiered at the Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival and was shot on-location in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
Her recent stage directing credits include The Woke Tragedy of Richard III: Dyke of Gloucester (City Garage and & Sons Collective), About Town (Frayed Knot Collective), Sapphicana (& Sons Collective), Good for Her (Co.Arts Productions), and an award-winning adaptation of Brecht’s The Life of Galileo (University of Oklahoma).
Emma performs and writes with Burnt Toast, a sketch comedy group that has performed at comedy festivals in Toronto, Montréal, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C., along with NYC performances at the Brooklyn Comedy Collective, Upright Citzens Brigade, Caveat, Frigid New York, and more.
She is a founding partner of Peak Media, a production company based in Queens, NY that curates and develops narrative and live productions for streaming.
Emma holds a BFA in Dramaturgy and Acting from the University of Oklahoma.
